A New Year Begins

Welcome to Mr. McWilliams 5th grade class.

I hope you all had a terrific summer. My family and I stayed close to home this summer, but we did get up into the mountains to do a little hiking.

I want you all to know that I am excited about getting started. A new school year can be very exciting, it can also be a little intimidating. Don't worry, God has blessed us all so much already I am positive he has many more blessing in store for us.

The theme for this school year is from Ephesians 4:32. "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Each day is truly a new beginning. I hope when you walk into class each day you remember the great love God has for you. What a gift God gives us each day, knowing that we are saved by his gift of grace.
